FAQ

About these free AI tools.

Are these tools free — and do they send my plant data to a server?

Yes, they are free. All four tools run entirely in your browser as static JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to SAS servers unless you choose to copy a summary and send it via the contact form.

Can I use the results as a final bill of materials?

No. Results are indicative planning aids for discussion. Final architecture depends on models, lighting, PLC cycle times, cabinets, power/cooling and OT policy — confirm with a plant assessment.

Do the tools replace the IntelliLink hardware configurator?

No. The PdM channel planner helps you sketch signals; the free IntelliLink configurator on the main SAS website turns channel needs into a quotation package.

Will using these tools slow down the website host?

No. There is no server-side AI, database or image processing. The host only serves HTML/CSS/JS like any other page.

Are the tools a substitute for engineering?

No — they are browser-only planning aids. A plant walkthrough still validates assumptions before purchase.

Can I export results to SAS?

Yes — tool pages support export into a plant assessment request.
